The Role of Mortgage Specialists in Washington State Collaborative Divorces.

The Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS), will assist you, in conjunction with a CDFA, in managing and protecting your equity in real estate holdings and/or acquisition of property during the divorce process.  The ability to qualify for a loan prior, in process, or after final dissolution, has a direct impact on product availability, ability to qualify, and rate/fee. The CMPS will analyze your current situation, determine what you must do to meet your goals, and offer mortgage planning recommendations.
